AIEC AI Entrepreneurship Contest — June 2026

As part of Team AOSM, I helped develop and present FreshTrack, an AI-supported meal-planning concept designed for multicultural urban youth in the Greater Toronto Area.

The project explored how an AI product could respond not only to a technical problem, but also to real user preferences, cultural food choices, and practical everyday needs.

Our team presented FreshTrack at the AIEC finals, where the project received the Scotiabank Award for Business Potential.

What I Explored

  • Identifying a target user group.
  • Connecting product design with real needs.
  • Considering cultural relevance.
  • Developing an entrepreneurial value proposition.
  • Presenting an AI-supported concept.
  • Responding to competition criteria and feedback.

What I Learned

FreshTrack helped me see that entrepreneurship is not only about creating a product. It also requires understanding who the product is for, why they would use it, and what makes the solution valuable to them.
